Oil on Board by American Impressionist Painter George M Bruestle (1872-1939).
Bruestle was
a prominent member of the East Lyme CT Art Colony. Bruestle was born
to
immigrants and raised in New York City. His best known
works are smaller scale oils of hillside scenes, farm scenes, and nature
in general in the areas surrounding East Lyme CT. Bruestle
has works in the Florence Griswold Museum in East Lyme CT and the
Smithsonian Museum in D.C. This particular painting is an Oil on
Board. It is in Excellent Condition in a very nice frame. The dimensions are roughly 16" wide by 12" Tall.
